My role as a selector is to pick and stack products ordered by stores. I also pick full pallet orders with bulk truck. When I work on reach truck, I fill empty slots ready for selectors to pick.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I am enjoying the programme very much. I find the workshops informative and interesting. The pre- and post- works keep me busy and engaged. The off- the- job hours offers learning through real life scenarios, where I can learn new skills and I can put in practice the theory.
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have developed my skills in technology and software, and using them to produce reports, monitor progress. I am improving my communication skills, and I have developed my problem solving skills.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

The programme follows a well structured plans. The topics are building on each others. The deadlines leaves enough time to prepare.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I get all the support I need from my employer. I have the opportunity to do my off- the- job hours, where I can learn from my section leader and deputies.

The theoretical knowledge gives a new perspective and more understanding about the role. The on the job learning gives real life experience and opportunity to gain new skills and behaviours.

Why?
I think Aldi is a great company to work for. It expanding quick and improving continously. Employees getting chance to improve and build their career. Also, the salary is higher then the average.
