Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

Because you shift departments every month, each day is different. You can be in lighting one day and building sets the next. You learn about everything and spend the day partly shadowing and lots of hands on work yourself.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
5/5
I have enjoyed and learned loads in all my different departments.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
Yes, as I had no theatre knowledge beforehand, every day I learn something now. Most recently from working on stage, Ive learnt how to hang borders on fly bars.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
4/5
Sometimes there is a little lack of comms between work and college leading to some misunderstanding, but the lessons are delivered well and tasks are engaging
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
Lots, just as much as i need and im sure theyd offer more of i needed it.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
4/5
Lots of support, answer messages reasonably fast and answer questions
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
4/5
It backs up the knowledge I already have through in real life work by delivering helpful sessions on them
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
4/5
yes, apprenticeship days that bring us closer together and build teamwork.
