My role is within the finance department under the accounting team. We look after different regions around the business and review the management reports, budgets, audit, financial accounts.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I am really enjoying my programme and being able to develop my skills in the workplace and also my studies to gain my qualification.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Throughout my apprenticeship I have learnt many new skills as well as continuing to develop my skills within different aspects of the finance team.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

My programme is very organised and structured with a study planner being issued showing the full length of my training programme along with regular catch ups/review meetings to keep on track.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

Throughout my programme I have received great support from Willmott Dixon and continue to do so. We have regular review meetings and catch ups as well as having the support readily available whenever we need it.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

I receive great support when working towards my qualification from ensuring I receive all of the time needed for study/exams. They are also very flexible to ensure we get the best support available.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

My qualification helps with my role as I can link through everything I am learning to my day to day tasks which helps to understand things better.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

We have many different social activities within my team and also in the wider business to get involved in which are great fun and also great to meet others around the business.
