Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

Log into aptem most mornings during the week. I complete online reading and questionnaires daily, I speak to external parties once a month for a workshop learning that take 3.5 hours. I also speak to a learner advisor if I have any issues on how to collate my information or any issues with the learning app.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I have enjoyed this course with it taking me out of my normal day to day work, I have enjoyed learning new tasks in regards to management and found the overall experience rather exciting. I am eager to expand my knowledge and feel this is a great asset in doing so.
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have found this course very informative and have learned new skills to help my progression. I have been doing this course for 3 months and learned more about different management styles and approaches on how to communicate effectively. I am currently working on a module about diversity, inclusion and how to empower teams.

How well organised/structured is your programme?

I would say this course is very well structured and that the program runs with a good timetable. the deadlines seem easily achievable and fits well with with our working pattern.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I have been given all the support and time I've needed to make this course comfortable for me. I have been given adequate time to familiarise myself with my tasks and time to complete these tasks within the deadlines.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

There was a mix up at the start and needing to change my learner advisor within the first couple of months, I was unsure about the processes at first. I now have support and understand the functions of aptem a lot more clearer since I was allocated a new advisor.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

I feel this will greatly improve my performance within my role if I was ever given the responsibilities of managing a team. I now know how to conduct myself better and have improved communication techniques.

I would recommend Aldi to a friend as you feel included and a valuable member of a team, the pay is also great and you have great opportunities to progress within certain departments.
