Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

I help with making content for various teams in the Children's department. This includes using a camera to capture footage, learning new systems and logging details, discussing ideas with my team.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I am really enjoying my project, there is lots of opportunity to get involved in different stuff. I work with my manager to do different things so I can fill out my portfolio and have a variety of responsibilities.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I learned how to use a camera and microphone.
How to work in a timeframe.
Working in a busy environment and ask what I can do.
How to multitask / prioritise projects.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?

Well structured, given a schedule at the start to discuss with your managers. Around 6 months with each team, have opportunity to shadow different teams.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

Good support, we have a scheme advisor we can contact, and meetings to share updates / concerns. They ask us what can be improved, what would we like to do in our apprenticeship regularly.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

Good support, have safeguarding contacts and chance to speak privately about placement. Have support in understanding our portfolio and given opportunities to complete it.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
