Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
4/5
I am involved in a variety of different tasks relating to business operations, rotating around the business to gain more experience on my day-to-day basis rather than remain in one single role for the duration of my scheme!
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
4/5
I have really enjoyed my programme so far. The people I work with are very kind and supportive, as are my management, and I am given a good amount of responsibility to learn and take on new tasks.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
4/5
I've improved on existing skills such as communication, as well as learning the value of making mistakes and networking. I have learnt a lot about Project Management, as well as developing a greater understanding of the many business functions at the BBC.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
3/5
There has been uncertainty at times, where I do not feel placements have been organised in good time for me to prepare, as well as periods of time where I have felt there was no work for me. But otherwise, the programme (particularly from the learning provider) is well structured.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
Lots! My line manager, placement manager(s) and early careers advisors have all been extremely supportive. We get time to study prior to exams, as well as regular catch-ups and communication to ensure any issues are tackled proactively. Generally, staff at the BBC are very accomodating of apprentices, and I often feel understood and supported at all parts of the company.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
4/5
We are given adequate study day(s) prior to exams, as well as time off to participate in courses such as the APM PMQ. We also regularly visit the apprenticeship competencies to ensure I can provide evidence for this as I move towards the end of my apprenticeship.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
4/5
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
4/5
