Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

Based In toddlers. I'm essentially an assistant educator doing my level 3 from unqualified as an apprentice. I have key children so I do all their next steps have conversations with parents about their progress anything going on at home etc. I plan and do activities with the children and help look after their day to day.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

Its a lot and study time is limited due to staffing. I love working with children but I do question whether or not I'm cut out for it and doing a good job.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Teamwork, learning what milestones they should be hitting and what this looks like. What forming bonds and attachments look like.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

When I have meeting and webinars it is accomadated at work but things like logging my otj hours the site doesn't work then I fall behind on logs massively as the site logs me out then doesn't let me change the password and then when it was working I don't get enough time tk do it
How much support do you receive from your employer?

My manager [This section of the comment has been removed by a member of the Higherin Team because it did not meet our site terms and conditions] is always supportive and helps me to understand and process the work and makes sure I'm not struggling with the balance etc.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

My tutor is great at giving us feedback and tips and tricks for ways to improve.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

I'm doing the same stuff i would be just being unqualified but it helps me to have a better understanding and build on those skills in more depth
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

We have a summer and winter social every year and our N reps plan group activities like darts etc

Why?
The people are lovely I've never known another nursery like it but there is a very high standard to work at
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to N Family Club?
Be open with what you do and do not understand and ask for help from the get go don't feel bad asking for help more than once
