Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

When completing my apprenticeship I worked in the Comms & Events department at BBC Studios where I went around Production, Internal Comms and Events. I got an insight in to different roles within each department where I helped work onsite at live events helping the production journalist working with talent. I complied analytics from media outlets to demonstrate the traction of shows we were working on. In Internal comms I would write and publish news to the business around the world to keep them informed on upcoming events and accomplishments. In Events I worked as the team assistant which I now have a permeant position in. In this role I helped assist the team on upcoming events and completed admin tasks.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I think this apprenticeship was one of the best opportunities I have ever been apart of. The amount of opportunities and doors this apprenticeship has opened for me have been incredible. I owe where I am today to the scheme and would recommend it to anyone
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

This apprenticeship helped develop my written and verbal communication skills, excel/powerpoint spreadsheet skills. How to work under pressure with tight time schedules to a high quality. I developed my networking skills and how to handle people in high pressure situations.

I believe the way the programme was structured clearly and it was very easy to follow
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I had huge support from many people within my organisation. I had a manger who helped with any queries or assistant I needed. Everyone I came across during my apprenticeship was extremely supportive
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

A lot! I was able to contact my training provider whenever I had any questions and we had mock test which helped ease my nerves
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

It gave me the opportunity to observe and soak up as much information as possible before throwing myself into this role.

Because of the position I am in now! It has built my confidence up and it has been the happiest place I have worked at.
