Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
5/5
I do placements so day to day will be joining meetings for my placement and doing tasks that support that team and work on assignments. I do out of job activities e.g. networking by a coffee roulette, a stem ambassador and part of a tic team.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
5/5
I feel so supported and everyone cares about my growth and are always wiling to help me. The tasks I get given help me learn new processes, develop new skills and meet new people. I have developed so much both personally and professionally already which would have happened in University.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
Communication, negotiation, leadership, independence, confidence.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
5/5
Very well structured. I have weekly 121s with my supervisor and placement supervisor, monthly 121s with my line manager, monthly meetings with other apprentices and the apprenticeship lead, quarterly meetings with a member of early careers and with my coach from university. My placements have been planed linking to university.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
A lot I have multiple people I can go to if I ever need help and they will check up on me.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
5/5
They ensure everything I do links back to the knowledge skills and behaviours I need to acquire from university in order to pass my apprenticeship. They ensure I understand my assignment that I need to do and get me any relevant support.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
4/5
Better understanding of the business.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
5/5
Many. Early careers activities, team activities, coffee roulette, stem ambassador, tic team and many events happen in Gaydon in which you can meet other individuals around the business and externally too.
