To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
4/5
I really enjoy working at Samsung. It is incredibly diverse, supportive and always full of opportunities for young people. I have spent a few months in my current rotation and I already have the chance to present at an international industry event.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
4/5
I have learnt more about public speaking, data analysis, social intelligence, business case building and presenting to stakeholders.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
4/5
It is well organised on the Samsung side, and also my uni does have many documents on the structure of the apprenticeship itself.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
4/5
I receive plenty of support from Samsung. The programme is well thought out by the Emerging Talent team and they truly care about our growth and success.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
4/5
It really depends on the lecturer that we have in the module we’re completing an assignment for. Sometimes it’s great, and sometimes you need to put more effort in getting that personal time with your lecturer.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
4/5
It is great because my modules really show up in my work and I can make those connections. It also helps me understand my job better as I have that theory knowledge that perhaps my more senior colleagues do not have.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
4/5
Samsung offers so many diverse experiences. We have agencies come in to do personal development workshops to improve our work skills. We also have sports teams and also a new gym was built in recently that is free of charge for us Samsung employees.
