Leading a small team to support trusts and provide oversight of management information and progress towards key performance indicators
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

The programme was really positive. I learned a lot. It was very well structured. The trainers were very knowledgeable and the coaches were really supportive and helped me achieve the best I could throughout the programme.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Learned new skills; apprenticeship is in coaching and I learned a lot about the skills of coaching, psychology and how the brain interprets information. I learned skills to help me develop as a line manger to better support my team and wider organisation.

How well organised/structured is your programme?

Great structure that was followed throughout the course. It helped to get into a rhythm of attending learning sessions, independent study days and submitting coursework on a regular basis.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

My employer was really supportive; they gave me the time needed to study, helped set up networks with other learners and celebrated my successes.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

Lots! Ioda were really supportive. The formal sessions were well structured. When it came to coursework they were happy to answer any questions and sense check my thought processes. They really supported me to be ready for EPA.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

The qualification has been really beneficial. I've learned new skills that I put into use on a daily basis. Just the practice of learning again was really beneficial in thinking about my ongoing development.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

Yes, regular social events, staff networks and support with joining professional bodies.
