As a management trainee, I do placements in every department for differing lengths of time to get full exposure to the company and get a working understanding of all roles before graduating into a selected department.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I greatly enjoy my programme and 3 years has passed super quickly, I would strongly recommend to others

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Mainly project management, also quantity surveying, estimating, design management. A lot of people and communication skills.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

For the most part well structured, smaller/shorter placements sometimes get lost. Education aspects are really well structured
How much support do you receive from your employer?

So much support - I expense all travel, lunches out of office, supplies. I have weekly check ins with my line manager, and quarterly 1:1s
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

A lot of support - paid for all time at university and able to have paid study days outside of that one day a week
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

The qualification provided a really good foundation for my project management role, as I now understand all the different considerations for buildability.
