I am a CQC registered manager. I manage a hub of 95 staff members who deliver care in the community to individuals who require health/social care needs.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I did enjoy the new theories and information i came across. I was also able to gain a greater understanding of the role out of a new system due to me linking my final research piece on this.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I learnt my learning and management style. I also learnt how to put this into practice to positively impact the delivery of the service.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

Very well, my tutor was understanding and was always on hand if i had any queries. I also had regular meetings with her to progress onto the next unit and see if any of the work i had completed covered other units.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

Great support, i was able to have working from home days to complete assignments and was able to speak to my tutor whenever i felt it was needed.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

Great support. She was always on hand and there to answer any questions i had.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

A level 5 is an expectation from CQC. This qualification assisted me in getting an overall good rating from our latest inspection.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

We have a marketing team who are always looking at ways to better communication and bring the field staff and internal staff together as a community.
