Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

As a Compliance Manager I oversee 5 compliance administrators who bring new recruits through the onboarding process, dealing with references, DBS checks and organising mandatory training. I also oversee ongoing compliance as a support to 13 services across the business
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I am really enjoying to develop my skills so I can develop further in my current role and exceed

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I started as a compliance administrator within the company progressed from compliance team leader to compliance manger which lead me to learn how to manage a team, deal with HR aspects and also learn more about the business

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?

I like to be organised as a person so knowing exactly what I need to do at what time. Meetings with my trainer are planned so I know when I need to ensure I’m complete what I need to in a timeframe really helps!
How much support do you receive from your employer?

The support has always been one of the reasons why I love working for Routes as they are always there to support whenever I am in need and especially now doing my apprenticeship

The qualification is helping to gain more confidence in my role and showing me I am capable of more
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

Yes, we currently have a walking club at lunch we’re we all get together and take time away from our desks and enjoy the fresh air.
