Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
5/5
A large part of my role revolves around improving the operation in our Regional Distribution Centre. I work alongside the Warehouse Leadership Team to seek improvements and efficiencies in their departments.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
5/5
I am really enjoying the programme! It is structured in a way that is easy to follow, and looks to build on my current knowledge of management and improvement practices. Tutor is clearly very experienced in the field and has been very helpful! I can easily see how it will benefit me in my current role.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
Very early days in my apprenticeship, but I have covered general leadership topics and management styles, along with change management which has given me a solid base to begin my project work.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
5/5
Very! The online Bud learning portal is super easy to navigate and provides structure on course content. All learning objectives and tasks are visible, so you have a good understanding of future content.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
Lots! It was great to feel the support of my employer in applying for the Apprenticeship! Since starting my direct leader has been on hand to offer support and guidance where necessary.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
5/5
The training provider seems very helpful and supportive. It is clear they want you to succeed, giving clear feedback and support where necessary.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
5/5
The qualification ties in really well with my job role. It takes what I already know, and builds on it, giving industry-wide frameworks to work with. I am hopeful they will leave me in good stead to make further improvements in the Warehouse setting.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
5/5
The team I work with get on really well, and will have social events throughput the year which is great! Really feel part of a team!
