Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
3/5
Look after the systems used for radio and TV. Responding to support calls.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
3/5
I prefer placement and learning on the job rather than the university city f the apprenticeship. The work can be interesting and I enjoy getting involved in projects.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
2/5
Yes I have learnt new skills.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
3/5
The placements in the workplace are structured and I have rotated around different teams. The university side is not as well organised and many of the lectured repeat content
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
The early careers team have been very supportive, epically the scheme specialist and advisor.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
2/5
I feel overwhelmed by the university, the admin side of the apprenticeship can be a lot and when I have asked for help I have been send too much information. I have spoke to the university about an issue that arose in work, they were not as supportive as my scheme specialist.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
2/5
I have learnt more on the job than I have at university, I don’t find that the modules at university have overly contributed to helping me perform my job better. They have provided some useful knowledge but overall I have learnt more on the job.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
4/5
There are a number of network groups to join, I have joined the women in STEM and the sustainability network.

Recommendations & Advice

Would you recommend BBC to a friend?
Yes
Why?
I think the workplace need to be more diverse, so they can take advantage of the opportunities available. Therefore, I would recommend the job to people who would not otherwise be afforded such opportunities.

Show the transferable skills and qualities from your hobbies and interests which you can also bring to the job.
