Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

I am a Non-clinical unit manager, my daily role is to over see the unit and manage care staff that I work on, I do meetings daily, care plan audits, rota. I also go out and do pre assignment for potential new residents. I wrote care plans and review them daily.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoy all of it and learning new things.

Yes I have learned a lot doing this, I learned how mentoring can help and what skills I need to do this.

Very well structured and organized.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

A lot, but the one thing that i do not get is my 6 hours a week supernumerary to study while at work.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

A lot of there is nothing I am sure of, I am able to email my trainer and get good feedback from my assignments and have lessons to help with my assignments
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

Very well, the things that I have learned I put into practice, and the things that I learn have made me think more about my role and what is expected of me.
