Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
5/5
In my daily role, I maintain regular communication with key customer accounts, ensuring that operational teams are aligned with client expectations and requirements. I focus on nurturing strong, long-term relationships with clients while identifying new business opportunities and delivering cost-effective, strategic solutions to support account growth. I also engage daily with internal stakeholders—including operations teams, managers, and senior directors—to ensure seamless coordination. As the first point of contact for escalations, I handle supply chain-related issues from both customers and internal teams regarding my customer's, ensuring swift and effective resolution.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
5/5
I have thoroughly enjoyed exploring various techniques that demonstrate how even small changes can significantly contribute to creating an inclusive and motivating work environment. One of the highlights of my apprenticeship has been the valuable guidance and insights provided by my coach. I’ve especially appreciated gaining different perspectives on workplace situations and learning how to reflect on and approach them with a more thoughtful and adaptive mindset.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
I have further enhanced my time management skills by applying the Eisenhower Matrix to my daily activities. Throughout my apprenticeship, I have also gained valuable insights into various leadership styles and communication approaches, and how effectively combining these can strengthen both internal and external relationships. Additionally, I have developed practical skills in project work, including how projects are researched, implemented, managed, and evaluated.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
5/5
My apprenticeship was well-structured and thoughtfully paced, providing the flexibility I needed to effectively balance both my workload and coursework. Both Seetec and Woodland were incredibly supportive during times when I required extended leave for personal reasons, ensuring my responsibilities were adjusted accordingly. This proactive support allowed me to stay on track without feeling overwhelmed or falling behind.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
I received a great deal of support from my employer throughout my apprenticeship. I was assigned a mentor who met with me monthly to review my progress and discuss any challenges I was facing. These sessions provided valuable insights and alternative perspectives, especially helpful when I found myself overthinking certain assignments. My manager also played a key role by directing me to the appropriate teams or individuals who could help me further develop the skills I was learning. Additionally, our People Development & Culture Management Manager was always available to offer guidance, particularly around functional skills. Overall, the entire team was incredibly supportive and encouraging, which kept me motivated and confident in my progress.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
5/5
I received consistent and valuable support from my training provider. My coach was always approachable and responsive, offering clear guidance, regular check-ins, and constructive feedback on my assignments. They helped me stay on track with deadlines and provided useful resources to support my learning. Whenever I encountered challenges, they were quick to offer alternative explanations or methods to help me better understand the material. Their encouragement and structured support made a big difference in keeping me focused and confident throughout the programme.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
5/5
My Apprenticeship has had a significant positive impact on my performance in my role. The course content has been directly relevant to my day-to-day responsibilities, providing me with practical tools, techniques, and insights that I’ve been able to apply immediately in the workplace. It’s helped me to better understand areas such as leadership, communication, time management, and project management, all of which have contributed to my growth and confidence in my role. The combination of reading material and daily application has enhanced my ability to work more effectively and strategically.
