My Job is to provide quotes to our USA clients for freight forwarding. This includes provide the best rates possible in a efficient and timely manner.

How well organised/structured is your programme?

I have monthly catch ups with my tutor and am reassured that if any extra support is needed, i am able to contact at any time. We have workshops which are relevant to our course with other apprentices so we cann offer others support and gain a better understanding on the course.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I have an amazing team that support my not only in my job role but also with my apprenticeship. I feel comfortable asking for help when i need it, but also am able to take the necessary time away from my role to focus myself on the apprenticeship.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

I feel that i can always turn to my tutor and will always receive a speedy response, i also know that she will always do her best to help me understand. If i am struggling to understand over email, she is more than happy to jump on a call to explain in further detail.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

I feel more confident in the way i layout my emails and that i am always ensuring that the customers wants and needs are met to the best of my ability. I feel that my course would really give a face to face customer service apprentice the confidence about their business and knowledge to perform their best.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

Woodland Group is a very social company, we are always invited to social events inside work but also to support our local teams and charities. We are always encouraged to attend as many as we can, we are also made away of any external opportunities that are available to further our knowledge.

Woodland Group encourages their employees to venture within the company, there are always new opportunities for movement and growth. Hiring internally is something Woodland thrive in, this is important to me as i feel secure and that this is a company that respects and gives their staff the best possible chances.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Woodland Group?
Its always important to be yourself, but i think especially working for a company like Woodland, ensure you know enough about the company and role to feel comfortable, but always show a smile, be confident and enjoy the experience.
