Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

I handle Air & Ocean Import operations from start to finish, which includes liaising with customers, creating quotations, assisting in overseeing and arranging schedules for Air and Ocean ops, customs clearances, arranging haulage.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I have now completed my programme, but throughout my time, I enjoyed it very much. I noticed improvements and developments to my skills and what I can offer almost every single day.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I had no experience in this career path when I first joined Woodland Group and now I have a whole new skill set for the logistics world. This job has taught me so much about being proactive, as time management is key for this choice of career.

How well organised/structured is your programme?

My programme was very well structured and set out, and if I ever felt stuck, it was made very clear to me where to receive help.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

Woodland Group have been fantastic from the get go. When I started my apprenticeship, my colleagues offered me assistance from day 1 - The same goes for my apprentice development coaches.
Even now that I have completed my apprenticeship, I feel incredibly grateful to have such a genuine group of colleagues and a great employer.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

My training provider, Seetec were great. The resources they offered to guide me through my apprenticeship were a huge help in setting me up for success.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

The knowledge Seetec passed onto me through their resources was fantastic, through my apprenticeship I was learning new information every day.
