I have enjoyed my programme as the pace of learning has been spot on and being surrounded with all the support I require while gaining my skills and knowledge working along side my buddies.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Expanded my knowledge from college and gaining confidence on working as an electrician. Helped me gain the confidence in carrying out work and also to pass my exams.

How well organised/structured is your programme?

When we moved to trade skills 4u the organisation was perfect. We had a set rota and everything was achieved in the weeks we had planned in.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I receive all the support required from the training team. I have been placed with two buddy's and they have a wealth of knowledge and also have a great interest in my learning and development.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

TS4U has been brilliant. All the tutors have been really good and engaging. All the information covered in lessons was also available online if I needed to go back over anything I wasn't too sure on.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

I believe they provide all the information in a way thats easy to understand which in turn makes working on the real world an easy transition.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

Why?
The apprenticeship scheme has been brilliant and has let me gain a qualification in and area that I was looking to go into and fund myself. Working alongside a existing electrician has made gaining the knowledge and skills to carry out the role when I qualify easy to do.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Tesco plc?
To be prepared to work hard. The apprenticeship is not a given and requires you to put the work in to get your qualification
