Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

Checking/originating calculations (bridge deck loads, welding checks, sheetpile calculations),
Idealised drawings,
checking mark-ups from engineers,
attending team meetings,
conducting bridge inspections and writing reports from the site visits.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoy the programme very much, I have learnt so much about Civil engineering and I am grateful for the opportunity to be putting what I learn at university into practice at work.

The programme is very organised and well structured with one day a week for off the job training(at university) and the rest of the time at work.

They are very supportive and give me time for study leave and help me out with my assignments.
