Planning and organising learning and development opportunities for current and future employees in Adult Social Services and Children's Services with a specific focus on social work recruitment and retention.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoy putting the skills into practice in the workplace and the support that I have received from my employer. I have struggled with some aspects of the course provision.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have developed my communication skills and learnt coaching skills which is a new area of development for me.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?

The workplace support is structured well. The course has been well organised but I have not always found the structure of the taught component to be coherent, things haven't always been ordered in a way that makes sense to me and that has made the learning a bit harder.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I receive a lot of support from my employer.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

I have had a lot of support from the training provider. I have found the course design and content to not be very intuitive or in the detail I would like. However, the provider has been very supportive and adaptable.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

My goal is to be able to add coaching to my offer as a learning and development consultant and become part of the coaching pool within the organisation. The qualification is essential to being able to do this.
