Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
3/5
My role is to help the project managers on the project. This involves shadowing meetings, taking notes and helping add information to complete necessary project documents.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
4/5
I am enjoying the programme. In the workplace I have started picking up more work and being more involved in a project exposing me to links with university work. Academic studies are good, I have achieved well in my assignments so far with good time management.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
4/5
I have developed my communication skills. I have to communicate with lots of different people who require different styles of communication. I have also developed my leadership skills, organising and facilitating a meeting for a colleague to give advice to an external project for a social value cause.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
4/5
My programme is structured at work by normal day to day activities and what is expected by me. The university is also structured, outlining what I can expect to learn from every lesson and module with live sessions in my calendar.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
4/5
I receive support from my line manager who invites me to meetings. I get support from my mentor about work and university and how to balance the two. I get support from everyone working in the project as they will always answer my questions.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
3/5
I receive support from the university in the way of learning from lessons. I also can get 1 to 1 support on academic skills and any questions I have. There are also resources such as an extensive library and referencing guides.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
3/5
I am able to better understand certain documents and terminology. This has allowed me to be more confident in the work I am doing and allows me to gain a fuller picture of the project and full understanding.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
2/5
There are social activites, and social value commitments to get involved in.
