Environmental consultancy across a wide range of projects, mostly in the water, rail, highways and defence sectors.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

Highly - I feel it was the correct choice for me back in 2022 and remains so today. I am given a fantastic level of support as well as a good degree of freedom to progress on varying projects.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Continual development of technical skills through work and university studies, as well as soft skills through interactions with varying people of different seniority levels and social contexts, throughout work and university.

How well organised/structured is your programme?

Highly - There s support throughout the business and the ability to rotate in and out of various specialist teams to achieve a wide range of experience in the business.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

A perfect level of check-ins to ensure I am on track, as well as many friendly faces to turn to should I have any struggles or concerns.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

A good amount - The training provider is available to make reasonable adjustments as and when, and is generally quick to respond to any issues. Given the general infancy of the programme there continue to be a few teething problems along the way but overall this is a good experience.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

The qualification is broader than the role to enable a wider understanding of the discipline than what is covered by the role of consultancy, with relative alignment to the role I undertake on a daily basis.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

My office specifically offers a wide range of extra-curricular activities, covering sports events, networking opportunities, celebratory dinners, theatre trips etc.
