Trainee Refrigeration engineer, learning all aspects of Refrigeration, components and how the fridge cycle works. This can be in the technical training academy as well as out in the field with my allocated coach.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I love every day of the job/course and I look forward to progress through my apprenticeship with MCFT to become fully qualified in the future.

I have gained a new skill with MCFT being a trainee Refrigeration engineer with learning something new every day on the job. Also developing my customer service skills.

How well organised/structured is your programme?

The course is very organised with brilliant structure knowing what we are doing throughout the whole apprenticeship, which is brilliant for demonstrating to new cohorts during recruitment days.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I receive massive amount of support from all members of staff within MCFT when required, especially from the Refrigeration training academy manager, teachers and my coach.

I feel that the training provided from MCFT helps me to perform better in my role, with ensuring no corners are cut and work is carried out to the highest standard.

What tips or advice would you give to others applying to MCFT?
Just be yourself, if given the opportunity to be a part of the recruitment day apply yourself to the while day and don't try to be someone your not. Show willingness and good listening/communication skills.
