Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

My day to day basis can vary depending on the placement I am currently on but it mostly involves, research, editing and assisting with shoots for TV shows.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

There are some days that aren't the most interesting but overall I do enjoy this programme and always look forward to seeing what comes next.
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have learned a lot more about filming and production as well as gotten much better at editing and using Adobe Premiere Pro

How well organised/structured is your programme?

It is very well organised as each team I have worked with has been very clear on what it is they want me to do and when the time comes to move on the next placement is always set up and prepared for me.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

My line manager, scheme advisor and all teams I've worked with so far have been very supportive and have helped me with any bumps along the road I have came to and always manage to help me find a solution.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

They always give good feedback whenever I've made a mistake I just sometimes misunderstand what they're asking sometimes.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

It has helped me understand more about certain points of the job such as getting material cleared to use and not illegal and has helped me keep myself and the people in the office safe.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

Would you recommend BBC to a friend?
Yes
Why?
I would because if you are interested in working in the TV industry then there is no better place to start than an apprenticeship in one of the biggest broadcasting companies in the UK.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to BBC?
I would say be confident, don't be afraid to ask questions, give it you're best shot and if you don't get in this time try again on the next round.
