Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

As an Executive Support Team Leader I am responsible for the management of Executive Administrators. These staff provide support to senior managers within the organisation
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

The programme is great. The workshop sessions are interactive, engaging and packed with information. The workbooks are set out in a way that makes it as easy as possible for me to input the required answers.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

The start of this apprenticeship correlated well with the start of my role in management. I feel that the information I have learnt has been at exactly the right time to provide the skills that are required for the different situations that come up.

I would say that this is perfectly structured for me.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

Norfolk County Council has been fully supportive of both my desire to undertake this course, and the hours that I need to dedicate to it each week. My line manager is very supportive and keen to help me in my development.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

We have regular catch-ups as a group, monthly workshops and a regular 1:1 session on progress
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

I would say that this has been essential for providing me with the skills that I require as this is my first time in management
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

Yes there are. There could be more, but equally, I am not someone who would take these up.
