Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
3/5
Communication via email & Teams meetings, delivering trailers / promos (scheduling & checklisting, file organisation - Dropbox, ingesting material, post-production booking, booking Voice Over artists via agencies, production documentation, overseeing online editing, voice over recording, audio mixing sessions, sending deliverables through versioning and approvals, quality checking, sending to TX / delivering promos, music copyright
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
3/5
I am really enjoying learning industry skills but wish the role was more production based as most of my work takes place over online

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
4/5
Yes I had zero experience in the industry and now I can deliver trails!

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
4/5
very - we have schedules and checklists for each step
How much support do you receive from your employer?
4/5
I recieve a lot of support - monthly meetings to check how I'm doing
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
3/5
A fair bit - we always know safeguarding information but I wish there was more support for London apprentices to experience placements or new opportunities for extended periods of time (as other apprentices across the country have placement oppertunities), especially as I didn't feel fully informed about what my role in my department would be before joining (e.g. I would have picked a more production heavy role rather than post production, even though I am enjoying my placement)
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
3/5
It was good initially as I had zero industry experience, however recently I am finding it is taking away time from valuable job experience that can actually hinder me at work - for example I started taking on projects myself but had to abandon them to go on a training week, where I learnt pretty much the same topics that I had learnt before. However it is nice to have a break from stress on training days
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
3/5
Yes there are regular social events
