Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

My role varies depending on the placement where I work. Currently, I work on Radio Cymru's news programmes, organising contributors and taking briefs, and also assistant producing early breakfast programmes.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Yes, I have developed my communication skills as its a very important part of my current role. I have also learnt some audio editing skills and have learnt how a radio studio works. I have previously worked in television, and therefore have gained technical skills in a studio gallery.

I think it helps me see the bigger picture in terms of how valuable what I'm learning is. It helps put everything into perspective and to recognise areas where I'd like to gain more experience.

Yes
Why?
Becasue it is a collaborative environment to work with. I always feel like I am supported at work and in terms of the apprenticeship, work life balance is encouraged.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to BBC?
Be clear on the BBC's values as they are very important to the organisation, and be sure to highlight relevant skills and how you and your skills will fit into the BBC.
