Daily tasks: Drafting emails and documents, creating social media content, research, conducting interviews and onboarding tutors.

Working with the team at Peppo was an extremely rewarding experience. The team work endlessly to improve the quality of tutoring being delivered. I gained a thorough understanding of the business model.

Being client focused - when I was communicating with a range of organisations and individuals, I had to ensure that whatever I was proposing had some value to them and presented the incentives without too much focus on the costs. E.g. when putting together proposals asking corporates for funding I highlighted the benefits to them rather than focusing on the amount of funding we needed.
Solution focused - when starting a project I ensured that I was certain about the desired outcome and so focused on overcoming any challenges that would prevent the desired outcome.
Improved resource management - when initially brainstorming for some projects, some ideas I had would cost too much to fund and so I had to review the resources we had and make adjustments accordingly.

My manager was extremely supportive. He constantly gave me the opportunity to put forward my ideas. When completing tasks I was able to do them independently and then send them to him for suggestions and improvements. He created a comfortable environment where I was able to be open to all feedback and continuously improve the quality of my work.

The role is very varied and so you've constantly got something new to do. There is a lot of scope for independent work which helps develop your critical thinking and leadership skills. The main benefit is seeing the outcome of your work and successfully launching projects.
