Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

In my role, I am responsible for marketing reports, a weekly competitor analysis, and weekly email campaigns. I look after branded merchandise and branded clothing, and liaise with the relevant suppliers. I also provide event support as part of a wider team.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I have thoroughly enjoyed being able to continue my education, whilst in the workplace.
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

In marketing, I have developed a wide range of skills including campaign support, content creation, market research, brand awareness. Personally, I have further developed my writing and editing skills, collaboration, communication, and time management.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

Adjusting to a fully online programme after face-to-face education was initially challenging. However, the learning portal was easy to navigate, with clearly organised resources and objectives. Weekly content aligned well with the textbook, and tasks were clearly set out, making it simple to follow and manage my learning.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

Throughout my apprenticeship, my team and a range of managers have been incredibly supportive. They have consistently made themselves approachable and available, providing valuable guidance with both my coursework and the End-Point Assessment (EPA).
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

It's been clear from the start that my training provider genuinely wants the best for me. They've consistently encouraged me to push myself and have always been there to guide me when I’ve needed help. My tutor, especially, has been a constant source of support and reassurance.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

The training has provided me with a deeper understanding of key concepts, which has helped me contribute more effectively to my team and projects, and understand reasoning behind our actions.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

There are a number of things to get involved with, including regular social events such as Summer BBQs, football and darts tournaments, and quiz nights, all supporting our chosen charity of the year. Additionally, we have bi-annual company-wide stand-down days with various activities, and company-wide social events such as a Family Festival and an annual awards ceremony
