Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

I am currently a HR Adviser for the Woodland Group. I began my Apprenticeship in March 2021 as a HR Apprentice. My current role involves a variety of different HR functions ranging from: employment relations matters; absence management; HR data gathering & reporting and providing HR related guidance and advice for managers.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

My programme was very informative and well structured. The course content was interesting and delivered in an exceptional manner.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have developed a vast array of skills in my role including attention to detail; organisational skills; interpersonal communication and time management skills. In addition, I have learnt a significant amount of knowledge regarding HR practices and processes and how they apply in a commercial environment.

Very organised and structured.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I received full support from my employer. They allowed me sufficient time to complete my apprenticeship work.

My qualifications has greatly assisted in performing better in my role. The knowledge and skills I learnt are easily transferable to my current role.
