Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
4/5
I ensure compliance to legal and customer legislation. I also ensure that the company is reaching our own internal standards.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
1/5
Struggled to balance it alongside working full time. It was a women in leadership programme and assumed that I was already in a leadership role. Some of the learnings / post work was not applicable to me so it was often challenging to complete.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
4/5
I have gained a lot of new skills - those being soft skills as well as role specific skills.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
4/5
Well structured.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
3/5
My manager has been very supportive. It is just difficult to balance when I am expected to complete my full time role alongside this.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
3/5
Supportive.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
2/5
I may find it more useful when I am in a leadership position. I was sold that it was about empowering women to become leaders but the course was a lot about being in a leadership position now.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
5/5

Recommendations & Advice

Would you recommend Dunbia to a friend?
Yes
Why?
A good place to work with a supportive team. There is a lot of opportunity to to progress and take on new challenges to increase our skill base. Day to day role is exactly what I was looking for. The work is never the same and there is always something new to do. I have fallen into a path that I perhaps would never of thought about pursuing without working here.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Dunbia?
Just get stuck in! Say yes to as much as you can to broaden the knowledge and experiences that you can receive. I believe that you get out of a job what you put in - the more invested you are the more opportunities that find you.
