Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
5/5
I create learning opportunities for educators to deliver to young people about animal welfare.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
5/5
The programme was excellent. My learning coach was particularly brilliant at challenging me and reaching a level of self-actualisation.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
I have learnt alot about myself in an applied manner about what it means to be a leader in the charity sector.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
5/5
The programme was brilliant with organisation and structure. There were only a few minor suggestions offered to improve the programme for the following year, but this is to be expected.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
My employer gave me 20% of my working week to complete activities and were open for me to take what I learned and apply it within my daily tasks.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
5/5
The training provider I worked with offered excellent levels of support through 1:1 and group tutorials. Sessions were delivered based on our needs as an individual or class.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
5/5
The qualification has significantly helped me feel more confident in recognising I have the skillsets to extend way beyond my current role.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
5/5
There are a few extra-curricular activities I can get involved in at work. As a remote worker, this doesn't bother me, and don't feel it is needed.

Recommendations & Advice

Would you recommend RSPCA to a friend?
Yes
Why?
I would recommend RSPCA as the people which work here all share a common purpose. We want to make a better world for animals. That sort of work culture and ethic is hard to come by and one of the core reasons for me to stay rather than leave.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to RSPCA?
We are all educators and you can embed learning opportunities in almost any project you engage with.
