Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

My role is to lead the HR function at site. As a team we are responsible for recruiting, training and paying employees, and we coach managers so that they manage their teams effectively.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

Ive really enjoyed the programme. Workshops are interesting and informative, and assignments are challenging, but I am learning a lot along the way.

I have learnt many new skills on the apprenticeship programme and its also given me an opportunity to develop and improve my existing skills.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?

The programme is very well strauctured with workshops, assignments and a coach to support our learning on a one to one basis.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

My employer has been brilliant at giving me the opportunity to undertake the apprenticeship, and has given ongoing support and time for me to complete my workshops and assignments.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

We all have a coach who provides one to one support from our training provider.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

The qualification has definitely helped me to improve better within my role. Its refreshing my skills, giving me new knowledge that I can apply and I am gaining in confidence as a result of the programme.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

My workplace has arranged a variety of engagament activities. There are football teams, community initiatives such as tree planting and litter picking, and many opportunities for networking professionally.
