Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

Attend team stand-ups/catchups to discuss progress on projects, any blockers, and to build a strong supportive team. I pick up project work, which can range from the discovery, development, testing, etc. of a software solution.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I thoroughly enjoy my programme, mainly due to the amazing support network and development opportunities!

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
I have significantly developed my technical expertise, soft skills like leadership and team-working, and overall confidence in working on a project at all stages. Many of the technical skills are new as I came from a non-technical background.

Structure and Support

4/5
My programme is well-structured. I have regular university webinars and some on-campus days. I have time to work on project work and additional community projects within the organisation.

5/5
I feel very supported by Capgemini, from the amazing team I am part of, to the range of development opportunities Capgemini offer.

4/5
My training provider offers support sessions to answer any queries about the modules, and ensures we know about the library we can access, as well as academic supervisors, etc.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
4/5
There are some modules which require technical skills useful to my role, as well as modules that enable me to reflect on my project work to identify lessons learned and develop my career progression.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
5/5
I am part of various communities within Capgemini which enable me to network with new employees and broaden my experience. There are also conferences I can attend, and networking events such as bowling, food, etc.
