Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

Yes, this placement gives you a lot of responsibilities. You are expected to manage a store and team on your own by the end of your store time; this includes managing rotas, holidays, staff development, KPI management and ordering. During your project work you are responsible for carrying out research on vital part of the business to offer up reliable solution and improvement for the business.

Aldi provide a lot of support during your placement. Each placement student is assigned a mentor for day 1 with the company who is there to help and answer any questions you may have.
