Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

Checking employees DBS are up to date, keeping P Files up to date, checking OurTime for the previous day/week to check employees have been clocking in and out correctly, completing safety walks on site, recording duty meals we need to claim back on site.

To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoy the programme very much as I am able to learn something new every week and incorporate it into my day to day tasks.

Yes, I have learnt how to use several new online systems such as OurTime, Foodbuy and Excel.

How well organised/structured is your programme?

The programme is very well organised, providing me with time to complete tasks every week, monthly catch up calls to ensure I am feeling good about everything, and monthly catch up calls with my line manager and mentor to ensure my skills are developing.

How much support do you receive from your employer?

I have received lots of help and support when needed from both my line manager and my apprenticeship mentor.

How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

I receive lots of support when I feel I need guidance from my apprenticeship mentor, and feel very comfortable and supported when asking for help.

How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

I feel that it helps me perform better as not only have I been able to learn more about myself and the company, but also the role I take and how I an communicate and work better with others which has allowed me to improve my daily performance.

Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

I have attended an apprenticeship conference, where I spoke to students about my apprenticeship. I have attended a profit protection 'shrink school' which allowed me to learn about theft in the workplace and procedures we have to have in place.
