Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

Responsible for identifying business needs, analysing processes and recommending solutions to improve efficiency. Acts as a bridge between business and technical stakeholders.

To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoyed the interactive lessons that were hosted over MS Teams, as well as applying what I had learnt to real-life scenarios within my workplace through completing a coursework portfolio.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Yes I have learnt lots of business analysis methodologies that I have been able to apply to my job role, prior to my apprenticeship I have no experience as a BA or working in a corporate environment. I am now much more confident in my job role.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?

My programmed was well organised and structured, I had plenty of communication and transparency of the programme, encountered slight issues with administration where myself and my line manager were not receiving emails that wasn't resolved the whole way through the programmed.

How much support do you receive from your employer?

I receive continuous support from my employer whether that was from my product team or the wider BA practice, I've been very fortunate with the support that I have received.

How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

Received lots of support from training provider, had regular meeting with my skills coach who's role was just to ensure that I am comfortable and have all the support I require.

How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

My qualification will help me perform better in my role as I am able to apply everything that I had learnt to every-day work. Things such as requirements engineering, stakeholder management and Business Impact Assessments.
