Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
4/5
I sit on the desk with a trainer controller and shadow them. I pass out alarms, take internal customer calls, and control where the water flows in the network.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
4/5
I really enjoy my programme at the moment as it gives me enough time to do my course work and my practical work.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
4/5
I have learnt endless skills as I am completely new to this job and field of work. I'd say I have also developed my communication and initiative skills.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
2/5
I don't think my programme is very well structured as there isn't really a set training programme at the moment.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
3/5
I receive a good amount of support from my employer, not too much so I still feel quite independent with my studies. Although if I did need extra help I'd know how to get it
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
4/5
My training provider gives me much support with my qualifications, they give me lots of feedback and chances to improve.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
2/5
My role and my course don't really link up very well as they are 2 different jobs, but I think it gives me greater insights
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
3/5
I have attended a few networking events and have had days out with other teams
