Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

Year 1 - Based in college 95% of time which gives you your foundation knowledge
Year 2 - 1 day release to college and rest of the week at plant working along side qualified engineers
Year 3 - 1 day release to college and rest of the week at plant working along side qualified engineers but also you will be focusing on BTEC work
Year 4 - Mostly focusing on BTEC and End Point Assessment

Yes, apart from learning the new manual skills you also build your confidence.

Why?
Well paid apprenticeship which only takes 4 years to get the full qualification. Friendly, clean but fast pace environment which is very exciting. A lot of skills involved in to this apprenticeship.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to JLR?
Just go for it. Make sure your CV stand out.
