Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
5/5
For my apprenticeship, I complete various personal development tasks like 'Communciating Effectively' and have the opportunity to complete Microsoft courses and exams to receive qualifiactions. For audit, I am involved in the entire audit process, speaking to stakeholders, inputting evidence onto our Internal Systems, and much more!
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
5/5
I really enjoy my apprenticeship. Lloyds is a great company to work for and everyone you meet is so welcoming to questions and easy to talk to. I feel that I have really grown intellectually and personally, despite not being on the scheme that long.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
I have improved many skills such as communication, collaboration, building relationships, data analysis, time management, systems and IT skills, and my overall confidence had definitely grown too.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
5/5
There is a great structure to the Internal Audit Programme. We have 6-weekly calls with a talent coach to talk through our progress, and there is a clear map of what our apprenticeship entails and when we will complete each stage by.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
Everyone in the group is willing to give support where you need it and will happily make time for you, and if there are any areas that you want to develop more in or learn more about, an opportunity will always be found for you.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
5/5
I have 6-weekly calls with my talent coach who talks through my progression in the apprenticeship, who is also available to reach through email. They are willing to help out and answer any questions where needed and a lot of information can be found online too.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
5/5
Being given development modules, like 'Communicating Effectively' has allowed me to understand the best way to communicate with my colleagues, team and stakeholders too. Attending the Workshops for the IIA course, also gives alot of information about various aspects of the role which allow me to understand how to deliver better quality of work.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
5/5
I am part of the social committee for my hub where we have arranged events such as a Diwali lunch, a Lunar New Year lunch, and many more, to engourage the team to get together and celebrate. We also are doing tree planting and have a pub rally coming in the summer for the entire office!
