My role at Northumbrian water is it manage water treatment sites as well as looking after reservoirs.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I very much enjoy every aspect of this programme. It was very well ran and organisation is never an issue.
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Yes. I have learnt many new skills such as chemistry and maths skills. I have also learnt a lot about myself by enhancing my communication skills and leadership skills.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

It is very well organised. There were some small issues at the start but now it is up and running it’s a great programme to be involved with.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
I receive lots of support from my team mates and managers. As well as this I was assigned a mentor to also help me in my early career
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

I receive a lot of support. I am given days to focus on my training and any time extra I need is always accommodated
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

My training suits my role incredibly. It touches on aspects of my job I didn’t know I needed and also helped me expand my knowledge of other business practices I may need in the future
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

We are currently in the process of starting an apprentice community where we can discuss anything. Either relating to job or not. This will be a great way to socialise with other apprentices as well as the graduates and inturns at the company aswell
