My job role consists of providing independent, objective assurance and consulting activity to add value and improve the organisation's operations.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I have enjoyed the program so far. Although there are occasional challenges and a lot to absorb, the support group I have has been immensely helpful.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have acquired many skills, particularly attention to detail - being able to identify potential fraud, discrepancies etc; communication - working and building relationships with stakeholders, and professional scepticism

How well organised/structured is your programme?

Apprenticeship - Provided by MBKB, well structured with a dedicated weekly study day, regular 121s, quarterly formal reviews with tutor and manager and embedded learning sessions and constant support.
Employer - Weekly 121s with line manager, constant support, involvement in group projects and individual tasks, tailored personal development plan to achieve goals aligned with apprenticeship qualification.

How much support do you receive from your employer?

My line manager is extremely supportive and consistently makes sure that I am doing well - always ensures I have enough on my plate without overloading for a healthy balance

My qualification directly links to my job role, so this helps applying theory to practical a lot easier

There a lots of volunteering opportunities throughout the year (both internal and external), there are Early Careers Events including the Apprentices and Graduates as well as networking events/socials.

Why?
Fidelity is a great place to work. The support you receive is great and you are never left to feel like an imposter (especially as an apprentice). The work life balance is great too!

To just be yourself, whilst being the best version of yourself!
