Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

On a day-to-day basis, I take customer calls on our billing lines. These customer queries can vary from changing direct debit details, to querying their bill. I also work our back office, so replying to customer queries and modifying cases.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I really enjoy my apprenticeship, I am learning new skills everyday and putting new skills into practice.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have learnt listening skills, also showing empathy to customers. I feel my confidence has also grown a lot too.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?

I would say my programme is well structed. I am constantly received feedback, whether this is positive or something I made need to work on.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
A lot of support. I always feel there is someone I can go to if I need to talk, or to go over something I may be struggling on.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

I also receive a lot of support. We have monthly progress reviews to see how I am getting on in my apprenticeship. I also know i can contact my tutor at any time if I need support with my work.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

As we have tutorials each month, for example the last one being on Understanding your organisation, this helps me to gain a better understanding of my job role and the organisation I am working in.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

We do have lots of networking events. We have a Christmas fair and also a summer one too.
My organisation also offers events such as ability colleague network, Multicultural colleague network , and much more.
