Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

Caring for and nurturing children through the daily routine in the room ensuring that they reach their full developmental potential. We look at their intimate and care routines such as nappy changing, meal times and sleep times. we also follow and implement the laws and legislations through our settings policies.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoy working in the room with the children and getting to know their individual routine. I love being able to provide inviting and engaging activities promoting and implementing our room as well as whole nursery intent.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have a previous Level 2 and working towards my Level 3 has allowed me to develop further understanding on how best to promote childrens development as well as my own skill set

I find that the course is well structured however can get overwhelming at times.

I get some support of my employer however due to staffing issues we struggle to fit in my off the job study hours.

I feel that since i have started my course, i am implementing everything that i learn into my daily practice
