Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

I teach babies some basic skills such as walking, crawling and talking. i help them develop depending on their age such as weening them on solid foods. i clean, do intimate care and make sure the babies are at the right stage for their age. I make sure babies always feel comfortable in what they are doing and try engage them in some risky play.

I love the programme i am doing. its everything i have wanted.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have learnt how to change a nappy, i have learnt how to properly multitask and i am able to time manage a lot better.

I receive so much support from my employers. i feel comfortable with them and know i can go to them if and when needed.

We make sure to take our babies out on trips when we can, we have roles in our nursery such as events coordinator that makes sure we have stay and plays, different activities and outdoor trips planned.

Why?
It is the best nursery i have been it. everyone is on top of what they need to be doing. they go above and beyond for the children and make sure all children are comfortable.
