Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
4/5
My role is to be the first point of contact for customers in commercial and business banking, involving commercial credit cards. I have to handle their requests, answer their queries and be on hand ready to provide insights and information.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
5/5
The programme is an amazing opportunity to build a career in finance, it's the perfect place to develop the natural skills and is the best starting step to learn about this type of work.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
4/5
I have built upon core skills like communication and team working as well as developed vast knowledge on different systems and new knowledge on the inner workings of a bank.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
5/5
the programme is structured really well, it's not simple but it's easy enough that when you find and learn where everything you need is, that it becomes so neat and tidy and easy to manage.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
my employer has been extremely supportive of my position and of my apprenticeship, they are always checking in and make sure we have a catch up at least once a week. they have also been supporting me through some tough times in my personal life.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
5/5
My coach is extremely helpful due to the fact that if I am stuck or need help, they are always there to answer any queries or questions I have. They obviously won't answer any exam related questions but they always try to steer me in the right direction.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
5/5
It helps me as I will have gained a lot of knowledge and with the skills and teachings I learn alongside working, should help me in the progress of mastering my role.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
4/5
I haven't done anything like that yet, however I am open to anything along those lines, and will be actively looking for opportunities.
