My job role is to manage my team members and be able to run a store , looking at what needs doing and setting tasks for staff members . I also have to deal with customers complaints/ questions and concerns
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I really enjoy my programme, it is very fun learning about all the different things in retail like the marketing, promotions

How well organised/structured is your programme?

It is really well organised , i have a call every month to see how i am getting on within my apprenticeship, to see if there’s anything they can help me with
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I receive lots of support from my employer if i need help with anything she’s always there to help me figure something out and will always tell me what to do if something goes wrong
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

I also receive a lot of support from my training provider, he is very helpful with my work and helps me understand it more clearly, he also makes sure that i’m getting on okay within the store and making sure there are no issues with me and any of the staff
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

I am able to use effective english skills to be able to confidently talk to customers and address their concerns . I can also use my maths skills to work out refunds/ price changes on the tills

Would you recommend Superdrug to a friend?
Yes
Why?
Because it has made me a much more confident person not just at work but outside of work too. I am able to speak to people really well and learn about them and also it has helped me to be able to address concerns and complaints in an effective way without coming across as rude.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Superdrug?
Make sure that you are prepared and you know that sometimes it’s not always easy especially dealing with customers that are really rude and disrespectful towards staff, it is also hard sometimes to deal with the people that steal and just to be careful with customers always keep a distance if they seem aggressive . Research a little bit about the company and what they sell and learn about some of the most popular products because it’ll really help to know things about the products you are suggesting to customers .
